Max position / risk
The largest position or risk allowed per trade, capping how much any single bet can move your account.
A max-position rule limits the size of any one position as a percentage of your balance. It stops a single trade from clearing the target or blowing the account in one move, and on instant-funding accounts it doubles as a cap on how much one winning trade can gain.
FundedPoly's staged challenges allow 5% per trade; its instant model caps positions at 1%. Maven applies a 3%-per-question cap, which also limits your upside on a high-conviction event.
